You can buy the MLS Broadband package via MLSNet for $19.95 a year. That includes all matches on MLS Direct Ticket. The ESPN, Telefutura and HDNet games are not included.

ESPN 360 shows all MLS Thursday Night games and will show most of US CONCACAF qualifiers. But you have to be at an IP provided by AT&T or Verizon to access the service. Comcast, QWest, T-Mobile and Sprint do not pick up ESPN 360.

Totally agree:

Here is my summary on the Red Bulls.

# The number of scoring chances created by the Red Bulls was not only impressive: it was further proof of how much more tactically savvy Juan Carlos Osorio is than your average MLS manager. Even more impressive was Danleigh Borman the revelation of the MLS season thus far scoring another great goal this time playing on the left side. Wide play is critical in MLS, and imagine how good New York is going to be when they get on their own regulation size grass pitch with Borman and Dane Richards on the flanks. That will be a scary sight for the rest of MLS.
# Throw in Dave Van Den Bergh attacking down the left side from a defensive position and you have class and quality something sorely lacking in many MLS sides.

Do you want to come on the show sometime?

I think you'll be fine.

The places I'd avoid right now in all honesty are:

Toronto (no-brainier)
Houston
Dallas
San Jose
Chivas

Each of the other four cities besides Toronto which has an out and out Hooligan problem/culture have fringe groups that could create trouble. Chivas seems to have banned one of the groups for two matches which is a positive step, and Dallas is trying to de-legitimize their fringe group. San Jose's group apparently has some skin head types and Houston's group has already made the news.

The other MLS venues for now seem to be safe and civil.

I've now been emailed more info about the behavior of TFC fans and you are right. They are like the Maple Leafs fans plus a bunch of drunk hooligan types.

I just wrote an email to Dougie Brimson who wrote the March of the Hooligans and did the Movie Green Street Hooligans to talk to him about TFC. I know he was concerned when they came into the league about this. He was sadly right.

Are you a Bills fan?

Cannot wait for Red Bull Park. Not only a better venue but GRASS!

Yeah maybe I'm getting too negative. I notice the people I despise like some people on this site who want MLS to fail and US to miss the world cup are using my latest post as proof of the coming fall. So I'm going to be decidedly more pro-MLS in future posts except when it comes to the hooligan issue in Toronto. That is something we need to stamp out. I am thankful no Red Bull fans traveled the other day and were injured.

Part of my motivation is for people on sites like this who think they can safely ignore MLS and think soccer will survive. The only reason these people even have EPL and La Liga matches to watch is because of MLS and the US National Team having some small public success.

I'm going to do a follow up right before the US-England game which basically says "watch your national team and support your league, not other national teams and other leagues."

I'm setting that up with this article.

Van Den Bergh is outstanding. Just such quality. I'm worried about the Red Bulls though without Angel and Echeverry. They don't have the same spunk going forward but got the three points they needed!

I cannot wait for the Red Bulls to move to Red Bull park! Your traffic story is typical of everything I always hear from people going to the games in NJ.

Altidore is phenomenal, but the team badly needs Dane Richards back.

Love the photo....Irish links courses are awesome. The Whispering Straits course in Wisconsin designed in an Irish fashion on Lake Michigan is nice also.

I think Schelotto and Gallardo were both really good last night, but like you the announcers helped to ruin it.

Thanks, Erik. I'm hoping the Red Bulls can have a big year thus can fill that new stadium next year!
